We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the standard most commonly referenced in the United States for public websites. We also work to operate consistently with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Conformance Status
Partially conformant. We believe this website substantially meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and we are continuing to review and remediate it. "Partially conformant" means most of the site meets the standard but some content may not yet fully meet every success criterion. Third-party content we embed or link to — including mapping, financing applications, and review content hosted by other companies — is outside our direct control and may not meet the same standard.
What We Do
- A "Skip to main content" link as the first focusable item on every page
- Keyboard access to navigation, menus, and forms, with a visible focus indicator
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate the page structure
- A visible, explicitly associated label on every form field
- Text alternatives for images that carry meaning, and empty alt text for decoration
- Colour contrast chosen to stay readable for body text and interactive elements
- Layouts that reflow for zoom, small screens, and reduced-motion preferences
Known Limitations
Accessibility work is ongoing rather than finished. Content published through our content management system, and embedded content provided by third parties, can introduce issues between our reviews. If you find one, please tell us — reports from visitors are the fastest way we learn about real barriers, and we prioritise anything that stops someone contacting us or booking service.
